Where will Suicide Squad 2 stream: Is the movie only going to theaters or HBO Max?
By Sandy C.
The movie Suicide Squad may have been trashed by critics and fans, according to Rotten Tomatoes, but a sequel will soon arrive in theaters. Will fans be able to stream the movie at home or are movie theaters our only option?
Despite the harsh reviews and comments, Suicide Squad was nominated for many awards and won several, including Best Actress in an Action Movie from the Critics’ Choice Awards (Margot Robbie), Best Soundtrack from the Hollywood Music in Media Awards, and others.
If you enjoyed the movie as much as we did here at Hidden Remote, you’re likely super excited about Suicide Squad 2 aka The Suicide Squad getting a big-screen release.
I know I’ll be watching the movie in theaters. But what about those who just aren’t ready to go to a movie theater or simply don’t want to spend the money? After all, the average movie ticket is $15, popcorn and snacks not included! Why spend that when you can watch the movie at home?
Not to mention, since many didn’t enjoy the first movie, they would rather not risk it and prefer watching this one at home. And we can’t really blame them! That said, here’s where you can find the movie when it premieres on Aug. 6, 2021.

We are in luck! The Suicide Squad, which serves as as standalone sequel to Suicide Squad, is getting both a streaming and theater release.
You won’t find this movie on Netflix or Hulu! This movie will get an HBO Max streaming release.
