Modern Love season 2 synopsis

The official synopsis via Amazon Studios:

"The Amazon Original series Modern Love returns for season two with another impressively star-studded cast and new stories of love and relationships in all their complexities and beauty, inspired by The New York Times column of the same name."

That’s a vague description of what audiences are in store for with the latest installment of the Modern Love anthology, so here are the episode titles for season 2 from IMDb and a short synopses of what their love stories entail.

“On a Serpentine Road, with the Top Down”: All Stephanie Curran has left of her love story with her late husband is an old vintage car, and now she may have to sell that, too.

“The Night Girl Finds a Day Boy”: Jordan and Zoe could have a romance for the ages. If only her sleep disorder didn’t separate them like night and day.

“Strangers on a Train”: Michael and Paula decide to go old school with their connection after meeting on a train, no phone numbers and no social media. Then a global pandemic hits and Ireland is locked down.

“A Life Plan for Two, Followed by One”: Lil and Vince have been best friends for a long time. Lil, however, wants to add romance to their relationship. Vince has kept them firmly in place as friends despite there being something between them.

“Am I…? Maybe This Quiz Will Tell Me”: When a middle school girl begins to develop a crush on another girl, she looks for answers about her sexual orientation in quizzes she finds on social media.

“In the Waiting Room of Estranged Spouses”: Spence and Isabelle connect unexpectedly when they discover their partners are cheating on them with each other. It really is a small world after all.

“How Do You Remember Me?”: When Ben bumps into a guy he went out with once, the two begin to question how the other remembers the night. Maybe things weren’t as cut and dry as they both thought.

“Second Embrace, with Hearts and Eyes Open”: Elizabeth and Van have a second chance at love. There’s only one problem. One of them is about to receive a medical diagnosis that will change everything.
