With the wealth of streaming apps available and theaters, there are so many new movies released weekly. I wanted to sort through them all and find some of the best options for you to watch.

We’ve got a Rock, a Blunt, a Cruise, a talking fox, and a MATT DAMON (Team America voice) hitting theaters this weekend. Movie-goers should have no problems finding a movie to watch this weekend. Let’s dive in.

Check out the movies available this weekend, beginning July 30, 2021.

New movies in theaters

  • Jungle Cruise (Also available on Disney Premiere Access)
  • The Green Knight
  • Stillwater
  • Nine Days (NY and LA)

If you haven’t been on social media or watching the interviews between Emily Blunt and The Rock leading up to the release of Jungle Cruise, you have been missing out. Their banter has been an absolute delight, it has done a great job of having me even more excited for the film.

Early reviews have applauded their chemistry and the spectacle that the trailer makes it look like it will be. I, for one, can’t wait to enjoy this ride.

The Green Knight has FINALLY arrived, folks. I have been waiting for this movie for what seems like an eternity. Dev Patel stars in this fantasy adventure based on an Arthurian Legend, which tells the story of King Arthur’s nephew Sir Gawain.

New movies to stream from home

Loosely based on the true story of the truck-stop killer, Midnight in the Switchgrass follows an FBI Agent (Megan Fox) and a Florida State officer (Emile Hirsch) hunting down a string of unsolved murder cases that may be tied to one guy. The psychological thriller puts the question in your mind, “what would you do if this happened to you.”
