Toward the end of the month, the Australian-American thriller Clickbait joins the list. The series gives us a look at the darker side of the internet. Nick Brewer looks like a normal husband, father, brother, and son, but he has a dark secret. He abuses women.
That secret isn’t a secret, though. When he’s abducted, he ends up on social media. Should his video be watched a certain number of times, he’ll be killed. Will anyone want to save him or will they leave him to suffer?
Clickbait is on Netflix on Aug. 25.
Control Z
The second season of Control Z drops on Netflix this month. It picks up off the back of the first season, which saw Raul outed as the hacker and Javi shot. Based on the promo, Javi will survive, but there’s a much bigger problem.
There’s a new hacker out there. This time, the hacker isn’t just revealing secrets. This hacker is going after all those who ever hurt Luis, getting revenge for Luis’s death and misery. Can Sofia figure out who it is before someone really gets hurt?

Cooking with Paris
Love cooking shows? Want to see Paris Hilton back on your screens? You get two in one with Cooking with Paris.
The series sees Paris try out new recipes, cook with new ingredients, and learn how to use new equipment. All the while, she’s cooking with friends like Kim Kardashian and Demi Lovato, and they’ll all eat the meal afterward. That’s hot…literally.

Sweet Girl
Need an action thriller? Jason Momoa stars in the next of the shows and movies on Netflix to watch. He plays a man whose wife dies from an illness. That death could have been avoided had it not been for a pharmaceutical company pulling a drug of the market.
When he decides he wants to speak out about that, the company comes after him. Now he and his wife are in danger, and they’ll need to do everything they can to protect themselves.

The Chair
For those who need a comedy series, Sandra Oh has one coming to Netflix this month. The Chair is one of the must-watches. Yes, it comes from the Game of Thrones showrunners, but don’t let that put you off just yet.
The series follows Oh’s Dr. Ji-Yoon Kim, who is the Chair of the English Department at Pembroke University. She’s the first female to chair the department and one of just a few people of color in the faculty. It’s time to follow the highs and lows of her new role.

When it comes to YA rom-coms, Netflix has some great ones. One of the franchises has a new movie coming. Yes, it’s all about The Kissing Booth 3.

Vivo

The movie stars and was created by Lin-Manuel Miranda. He voices the titular character, a capuchin monkey who travels from Cuba to Miami to become a star. It’s sure to be entertaining for young and old(er).
