Good Girls Season 5: What’s next for Beth?

Good Girls Season 5 isn’t happening but that doesn’t stop us speculating about what could have been next. What was in store for Beth?

We will never really know the exact way Beth’s story was going to end on Good Girls. However, something was planned. While the fifth season hasn’t ended up happening, there were plans to bring Beth’s story (along with Annie’s and Ruby’s) to an end with a condensed season.

We’re going to speculate what could have happened to Beth in the last season of the series. Would she have ended up on top or would she have eventually taken the fall for everyone?

This is just speculation, though. We’ll probably be forever left wondering how it could all play out for Beth Boland and her “Good Girls.”

What was next for Beth on Good Girls Season 5?

The season would have picked up with Beth now in charge of the gang. She made it clear to Rio that he would have to answer to her, and it didn’t look like he was putting up that much of a fight.

Dean realized that his marriage to Beth would never work. There was too much water under the bridge—and to be honest, why was she staying with him in the first place? So that would open the door for Brio to finally happen, but would she mix business with pleasure again?

Beth’s main focus would be on getting her sister out of jail. Nick pinned everything on Annie, landing her behind bars, but that’s not where she’d stay all season, right? There’s a chance that it would have all ended with Beth taking the blame for everything. Or maybe she would get Rio to take the blame for everything.

One thing is certain: Beth could step back from printing the money now. She’s the boss, so why not get someone else to do it? That could keep the FBI off her tail for a while.

It wouldn’t have been a smooth run for the final episodes. I could certainly see it all end with Beth taking the fall for everyone.
