It was time for the hometown dates on The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 9. The promo made it look like Katie would leave, but is that what happened?

Things got extremely emotional and heated during The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 9. Greg finally confessed his love to Katie, but she didn’t say it back. She only wants to say it to one guy, and while I respect that, she didn’t have seem like my ex at points during this episode. And that’s not a good thing!

When Greg confessed his love, Katie’s reaction was underwhelming at best. She says he should know how she feels, but she’s not exactly making that obvious. Greg clearly wants Katie to do what Clare did during The Bachelorette Season 16 and end the show early, but Katie isn’t going to do that.

To be honest, Katie shouldn’t have to do that. Greg should know the show, and just because Clare left early doesn’t mean anyone else should do. Plus, it’s not like there’s long left!

However, things were said during the episode that can’t be taken back. Greg stormed off, Katie the stormed off, and it looked like we were getting a show that finished early and not due to Katie choosing a man. Instead, it looked like she would leave without anyone.

Did Katie stay or leave on The Bachelorette?

In the end, Katie chose to stay. That’s not all too surprising since we are getting down to the Final Rose.

The preview for the episode didn’t give us much to work with. The other two men, Blake and Justin, aren’t too happy with the situation. They see that Katie is still pining for Greg, and that causes some problems for them.

Wait, has Greg left? We didn’t see that happen during the hometown dates, but it does look like he may have taken himself out of the running. He doesn’t want Katie to go through with the fantasy suites with the other men, so maybe he’s chosen to leave Katie to choose between two men she says she doesn’t want as much as him.

We’ll have to wait and see. The Bachelorette Season 17 finale is up next week.
