Who died in The White Lotus season 1 finale?

The White Lotus is HBO‘s latest hit series. From the very beginning, there has been so much going on, yet, audiences weren’t sure what was happening or where the story was headed — but no one could look away. Only one thing was made certain, one of the characters will be dying by the end of the series, and The White Lotus finale reveals which character it is.

The White Lotus season 1, episode 1, “Arrivals,” introduces each character, giving audiences only a tease of what to expect from each. Slowly, but surely, madness begins to unravel, and it all leads to a major death.

Each guest screams privilege, some louder than others, but done in a fun, obvious way. This is a satire comedy, after all. I believe it’s safe to say that episode 4, “Recentering,” is one of the most insane episodes in the series, topped maybe only by a moment in the season finale.

Who dies in White Lotus?

The only person we knew was safe (unfortunately), was Shane, as he’s the one we see in the first episode sharing that someone had died at his hotel. He’s alone, so we first thought it could be his wife. Then, Mark Mossbacher reveals he may have cancer, but that turns out to be a false alarm.

Who did you believe was going to die?

The character who dies in The White Lotus finale is Armond. Honestly, he wasn’t my first guess, but what I found most surprising was the way he died.

Armond entered Shane and Rachel’s room and defecated in Shane’s luggage as revenge. Before he could exit, Shane came in and made the disturbing discovery before hearing someone still in the room with him. Armed and scared (after learning what happened to the Mossbachers), Shane stabbed Armond as soon as he got a glimpse of him, not knowing the person is Armond.

It was all in self-defense given the situation, so Shane isn’t in any trouble for it.

What did you think about the season finale?

The White Lotus  has been renewed by HBO and will return with a second season that will follow a new group of guests at a different location of the famous hotel.
