It’s been almost two years since the first season of The Morning Show. Apple TV+ has given us plenty of great content to keep us entertained, but we are still waiting for the hit news drama to return. Here’s everything we know about The Morning Show season 2.
Season 1 of The Morning Show follows Morning Show host Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) after her longtime cohost Mitch (Steve Carell) is fired for sexual misconduct claims. Bradley (Reese Witherspoon) is hired as Alex’s new cohost and Alex realizes she’s being pushed out of the network due to her age.
To everyone’s surprise, Alex and Bradley decide to expose the toxic culture at their network. To say that the season 1 finale leaves us with an intense finale would be an understatement. Needless to say, we can’t wait for season 2 to arrive.
The Morning Show season 2 release date: When is it coming out?
The highly anticipated second season will premiere on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, only on Apple TV+. To watch, you’ll need a subscription! Season 2 will consist of 10 episodes.
The Morning Show season 2 synopsis: What is season 2 about?
According to US Magazine, the second season will see Alex leaving the network. They want her back, but she is very hesitant. We’ll also meet new characters, including Laura Peterson, a journalist at the top of her game who will also be a mentor to Bradley. Peterson will be portrayed by Julianna Margulies.
