Venom 2 synopsis: What will the movie be about?

As you can see from the trailer, the sequel picks up shortly after the events of the first movie. It seems like Eddie Brock and Venom have a better friendship and get along more, but we’ll still see plenty of bickering between the two.

Brock will interview Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson), who has received a death sentence. But before Kasady is killed, his Carnage symbiote comes out to protect him, leading to a Venom and Carnage showdown.
