The first three episodes of Nine Perfect Strangers certainly gave us plenty of drama, while setting the tone for the rest of the series. There are a lot of questions that need answering. Not everyone has pure motives for being at the wellness retreat, and we’re not even sure if we trust Marsha in the first place.

Nicole Kidman’s Marsha is hiding a fair few secrets. She’s getting death threats, but she isn’t very open to those who work with her. They’re concerned about her safety. All they want is to get the police involved, but Marsha isn’t ready for that.

This suggests she knows who is behind the text messages. And is it possible that she’s ready for death to finally come for her? Or does she think she’s going to be safe surrounded by the people who are at the wellness retreat?

What is Lars up to in Nine Perfect Strangers?

While we’ve found out why most of the strangers are at the wellness retreat, there is one we’re all very concerned about. Lars, played by Luke Evans, is up to something. He isn’t there for healing.

Is he an investigative reporter? That would make sense considering the secrecy around the retreat. There was clearly some sort of incident during another retreat, and maybe Lars wants to get answers.

Or maybe Lars is connected to the previous incident. Could he be the one sending the death threats to Marsha? With some hope, we’ll start to get answers as we hit the halfway mark of the series tonight.
