It’s been 30 years since the ’90s which means TV is set to reach deep into its nostalgia bag to bring us some gems. Cruel Summer has already set the vibe on Freeform and now ABC has its own ’90s flavored offering for viewers, Queens.

The series starring Brandy, Eve, and Naturi Naughton will take us back to a time when mo’ money, mo’ problems was an anthem and a catchphrase. Dripped in the gold haze of the last decade in the 20th century, we’re preparing for the kind of earworms from this series that will have audiences dancing along to the rhymes and rhythms these ladies lay down.

But Queens doesn’t only revel in the past. The drama is also about the aftermath of fame and rebirth as we’ll be treated to The Nasty B**ches in their heyday and their reunion decades after it all came to an end.

Who the group was and who they are now are certain to clash as they figure out the music industry and their place in it as artists and women making their voices heard.

Here’s what we know about the upcoming Queens debut on ABC.

Queens release date

Queens premieres Tuesday, October 19 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.

Queens cast

As reported by Deadline:

Brandy as Naomi, a.k.a. Xplicit Lyrics, the music virtuoso of her group. Naomi had thought the end of The Nasty B**ches wouldn’t be the end of her career but she was proven wrong. People expect the old her when she just wants to be who she is now. The group getting back together is her second chance at fame, but she’s also concerned with the man she lost to her bandmate as well as her estranged daughter.

Eve as Brianna, known as Professor Sex in the ’90s, rapped about money, sex, and the life of a star back in the day. Now she’s a wife and mother of five children who’s wondering if she’s lost her connection to the swagger she held not only in her steps but in her entire being.

Naturi Naughton as Jill, a.k.a. Da Thrill, a rapper who embodied living fast enough to die young. Her drug habit would have been the end of her had she not gotten a handle on her addiction. Decades later she’s turned to Catholicism and the seeming peace and quiet of her life in Montana with her husband. But not everything is as it appears, and Jill still has secrets haunting her.

Nadine Velazquez as Valeria, known as Butter Pecan, the fourth member of The Nasty B**ches who was added by their manager, Eric. When the group rose to fame, she became increasingly considered the face of the group. It caused problems but Valeria has always been about getting hers. It’s what made her a success and kept her in the spotlight even after the group’s end. Now she hosts a morning talk show but even hustlers need family, and though she doesn’t need to be a part of the reunited crew, she does miss what it was like to be surrounded by people who cared about her.

Taylor Sele as Eric Jones, former manager of The Nasty B**ches. Good at sealing deals and talking shop, Eric is the kind of man you want on your team. He secures the bag. He also has a way with women which caused more than a little tension with his group. It’s his idea to get the hip-hop phenoms back together after nostalgia has him thinking of all the mistakes he made in life including what went down with Naomi. Eric is also Lil Muffin’s manager and a top-tier talent in the game.

Pepi Sonuga as Lauren Rice, better known as Lil Muffin, a hip-hop It girl who’s burning up the charts. Lauren has a sweet personality but when she hits the stage, she’s all brash and quick, colorful lyrics. It’s made her a superstar at the cost of being heard. However, with the help of The Nasty B**ches, she may just find her voice in the sea of executives trying to shape her into someone she’s not.
