Blue Period release date

Mark your calendars because Blue Period will officially broadcast in Japan on Oct. 1, 2021! However, if you reside outside of Japan, the anime will come your way a week later on your country’s Netflix on October 9. Check out the announcement for the premiere date via @AnimeTV_JP down below.

The voice cast of this upcoming release features some very familiar names that you are definitely going to be excited about. From Demon Slayer voice actress Yumiri Hanamori voicing the character Ryuji Ayukawa to My Hero Academia‘s Daiki Yamashita voicing Yotasuke Takahashi, here are the rest of the talented cast for Blue Period:

• Yume Miyamoto as Maki Kuwana
• Mayu Aoyaki as Maru Mori

The animations studio Seven Arcs, the same studio that brought us White Album and Arte, will produce the upcoming series, and Hachimitsu to Clover‘s Koji Masunari will serve as the head director.

Blue Period synopsis

The series follows a boy named Yatora Yaguchi who often walks through life feeling empty. He doesn’t view himself as anything special nor does he see himself being a part of anything special, however, one fated day, he stumbles upon a breathtaking work of art at his school’s art club and his life is changed forever. More on the official synopsis via Blue Period‘s wiki, here:
