Many shows have ended or been canceled over the years. Here are 25 show we wish were still on the air.

We’ve had to say goodbye to many great TV shows over the years. Some have ended in a natural way, while others have been abruptly canceled.

One of the best things networks can do now is give us the final season warnings. The CW started the trend with The Vampire Diaries one of the first shows to land a final season order. That continued with The Originals, Arrow, and Supernatural. Other networks have tried to do something similar, with Netflix announcing Lucifer’s final (eventual, final) season. Other networks need to catch on!

Angel seemed like an abrupt cancellation, but the story was designed to continue in the form of the graphic novel. The same happened with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, so as much as we’d love to see the shows back on the air for various reasons, their stories did at least continue in another format.

Not all TV shows get that chance, though. We’re left with questions, hoping that the creators will share the way things were meant to go. Or we’re left hoping that another network will save our favorite shows.

In some cases, we do get good news. Lucifer was saved by Netflix, while Amazon saved The Expanse. Just recently, Netflix did it again and saved Manifest, albeit for a final season.

Yet, there are shows from the past and even the present day that we still wish would be back on the air. Here are 25 that we’re still calling for, even if all hope is gone.
