Though The Exorcist is a very popular movie, it’s surprisingly difficult to find. In fact, The Exorcist isn’t currently available to stream, but it’s available to rent or buy through several different services. You can rent it through Redbox, Vudu, Row8 or Prime Video, Apple TV, Microsoft and YouTube, and it’s also available to purchase through several of the same sites.

When The Exorcist debuted in 1973, the movie drew more publicity from the number of fans fleeing from theaters than it did the lines of people trying to see it. A young Linda Blair plays Regan, a 12-year old girl who is possessed by an evil demon. Her mother (Ellen Burstyn) summons help from Father Lankester Merrin (Max von Sydow), but it’s soon very clear that they will need all the help they can get to save Regan from the demon’s grip.

Over the years, several documentaries have explored the curses associated with the film, which has only served to increase the demand to watch the movie.
