It’s been a bad week for reality star relationships, as just a day after we heard The Bachelorette‘s Clare Crawley and Dale Moss split again, it’s been reported by E! News that The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson and Steve Lodge have called it quits. The pair were together for five years and got engaged in 2019.

The publication to report the news also has some good tea about the unfortunate split, claiming Steve was the one to end things. And this is not the first time the pair have broken up. It’s believed the two briefly went their separate ways this June before reconciling. Here’s what a source says about the situation:

"“Steve and Vicki had been living separately for much of the pandemic…Steve had been living like he was a single man in Puerto Vallarta, while Vicki was in the U.S.”"

Fans of the RHOC star know that she was married twice before, the first time to Michael J. Wolfsmith and the second to Donn Gunvalson. She has two kids from her first marriage, a daughter named Briana and a son named Michael.

If you’re wondering how Vicki is doing after ending her relationship, US Weekly is reporting that she’s not in the best place right now, sadly. Here’s what an insider tells them:

"“Steve broke up with Vicki while she was filming the spinoff show in the Berkshires. After he told her this, she was traumatized. It ruined her. She didn’t want to be at the [Dorinda Medley’s] house anymore.”"

It seems Vicki would definitely love to reconcile with Steve, but will it happen another time? The same source doesn’t seem convinced. They continued with:

"“She’s in terrible shape. She still loves him. They had not been getting along for a long time. He seemed disinterested in her for a very long time.”"

The Coto Insurance founder and politician were certainly cute together, but if this insider is to be believed, it looks like their romance grew to be one-sided, unfortunately. This is surely an incredibly difficult time for Vicki, and we wish her the best moving forward.
