Hotel Transylvania 4 will be the final movie in the franchise. Needless to say, families can’t wait to enjoy the movie, but when is it streaming or arriving to theaters?

There has been so much confusion surrounding the release for the fourth and final Hotel Transylvania movie, but we finally have an update! Hotel Transylvania 4 will be streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on Jan. 14, 2022, Deadline reports.

It’s a strange move for the studio. The first two movies premiered in late September, just in time for Halloween — a little early, but a good debut date for the movie. Hotel Transylvania: Summer Vacation was released in July, which does fit the theme. So a mid-January release date for a Halloween movie is odd.

We’re sad Adam Sandler isn’t starring in this movie, but I’m sure the adventure will still be so much fun!

The Hotel Transylvania movies are a favorite here at my mom. It provides enough jokes and humor to keep the adults entertain, with kids in mind as the main focus. Hotel Transylvania 4 is the last movie in the franchise, and its premiere date has been moved several times.

The movie was supposed to be released earlier, but the pandemic pushed it back, as it did many other TV and film projects. And even after moving its debut a few times, there were rumors that Hotel Transylvania 4 would only be available on streaming. Where can you watch the movie from home?

As we mentioned, the movie will only be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video on Jan. 14, 2022.

The movie was supposed to be released in September 2021, before moving to Oct. 1, 2021, and planning a streaming and theater release, but negotiations with the studio changed.

Is Hotel Transylvania 4 streaming on Netflix or HBO Max?

The third Hotel Transylvania movie was available on Netflix, but this new one will not be streaming there, so I understand the confusion. As for HBO Max, many of us know it as the place where big movie features go, but the final Hotel Transylvania chapter will not be streaming there, either.

Again, to watch the fourth movie of the Hotel Transylvania series, you’ll need Amazon Prime Video.
