Jennifer Aniston reveals she’s ready to date again four years after divorce
Which A-lister will Friends alum Jennifer Aniston date next? Well, we don’t know for sure, but we at least now have confirmation that the actress is single and ready to mingle.
The 52-year-old Emmy Award winner recently opened up about her love life while appearing on the Lunch with Bruce podcast, where she stated that she’s not dating, however, she is open to the idea of falling in love again. As reported by Yahoo!, Aniston explained her relationship status by saying:
"“There hasn’t been time [to date]… and it’s COVID. Although people seem to have met and found love during COVID. I don’t know how it works. I’m curious to walk up to those people and go, ‘So… what happened?'”"
The Morning Show star then revealed she’s ready to get back in the dating game, adding:
"“I think it’s time. I think I’m ready to share myself with another. I didn’t want to for a long time and, and I loved really, being my own woman without… being part of a couple. I’ve been a part of a couple since I was 20. So there was something really nice about taking the time.”"
It’s been four years since Aniston divorced from actor Justin Theroux, and of course her fans have been wondering who the lucky next guy could be. Aniston and Theroux were together from 2011 to 2017 before calling it quits. The two remain good friends to this day, but it seems the ship has sailed when it comes to their romance.
And Friends fans will all know that Aniston was recently linked to her former co-star David Schwimmer after the highly-anticipated reunion special debuted on HBO Max this past May. Rumors came about soon after that the pair hit it off after reuniting and had been spending lots of time together. Unfortunately for those shipping the actors, Schwimmer’s rep and Aniston herself both denied this.
Aniston said the rumors were “bizarre,” adding: “That’s my brother. But I understand it, though. It just shows you how hopeful people are for fantasies, for dreams to come true.”
Fans can speculate all they want about Aniston’s next boyfriend, but we’ll have to wait and see. Maybe, she’ll start dating someone who isn’t famous! There are so many possibilities for this successful and beautiful actress.
