On Sept. 30, 2021, Xavier Prather made history as the first Black housemate to be crowned the winner of CBS’ Big Brother Season 23. And now, Xavier will be celebrating his success with a guest spot on the network’s popular soap opera, The Bold and The Beautiful!
Xavier was on the set of the Daytime Emmy-winning daytime drama earlier this week to film scenes that will air throughout two upcoming episodes. B&B has a long history of welcoming Big Brother cast members to the soap as guest stars, creating synergy between the network’s daytime and primetime series.
The first Big Brother contestant to appear on B&B was Season 5 housemate Drew Daniel back in 2004, and it’s pretty much been a tradition ever since for the reality show to have at least have one contestant per season cross over to the soap. Even Celebrity Big Brother winner Melissa Jaret Winokur took a turn in 2018.
The exciting news that Xavier (who essentially secured his win as the final Head of Household) was headed to the soap was announced by the reality show on Instagram and later shared by the soap on Twitter.
The official Big Brother Instagram page posted two photos of the attorney standing at the doors leading to Stage 31 at CBS Television City in Los Angeles, where the soap opera films.
“Are you wanting more Xavier?!” the reality show asked its followers. “Well, you’re in luck!” Over on Twitter, the soap shared Big Brother’s Instagram announcement, calling out all BB23 viewers that “we’ve got a Bold and Beautiful surprise for you.”
When will Big Brother’s Xavier Prather appear on The Bold and The Beautiful?
Xavier is scheduled to appear in two episodes of B&B. Barring any preemptions, his pair of shows will air on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, and Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021.
Currently in its 35th season, the soap airs weekdays on CBS at 1:30 p.m. ET. You can also watch full episodes of B&B on CBS.com the day after they are broadcast on television.
Who will Xavier Prather play on The Bold and The Beautiful?
B&B has not yet shared any details about who Xavier will be playing on the soap or who shared scenes yet. In the past, Big Brother contestants have appeared as bartenders, waiters, and party guests, so Xavier will likely follow suit as such.
However, there is also a very good chance that B&B will draw upon Xavier’s real-life expertise as an attorney and have him suit up and speak some legalese as a lawyer for one of the soap’s fictional companies, like Forrester Creations or Spencer Publications.
