Legends of the Hidden Temple is back!

The popular ’90s game show was a favorite for millennials who grew up watching the series on Nickelodeon and now The CW has breathed new life into the competition. However, instead of children vying for the grand prize, it’ll be adults stepping up to the challenges set before them.

Also, this iteration will include a temple that’ll certainly remind viewers of the original, but that’ll have its own uniqueness and flare to it.

Judging by the trailer for Legends of the Hidden Temple, it looks like the show has made the leap from a sound stage to an environment that more closely resembles “the jungle” the competition is meant to take place in.

Comedian Cristela Alonzo is the host of The CW’s iteration of the game.

Dee Bradley Baker is returning to be the voice of Olmec, the talking stone head who acts somewhat as a guide to the contestants as he explains the challenges and warns of the dangers they face.

Though this is an adult version of Legends of the Hidden Temple, the competition will retain many of the same elements that fans of the original know and love, the grand prize, however, is much bigger.

Though there are six team names to choose from–Blue Barracudas, Green Monkeys, Orange Iguanas, Purple Parrots, Red Jaguars, and Silver Snakes–only four will will compete in a “jungle” setting for 25,000 dollars. They’ll be in a fight to be the single team to run through Olmec’s temple in the hopes of finding the long lost treasure that needs to be given to its rightful heir.

First, however, they’ll have to contend with each other in contests that will test their knowledge and their strength to earn the right to breach the temple. Not to mention the run will have its own challenge in the firm of temple guards the contestants will need to avoid. If they’re caught, their chance at winning the grand prize will slip through their hands.
