Each Joe is dealing with something different. However, each Joe is really facing something similar. In the new episode, each Joe will need to deal with uncomfortable feelings that come from trauma, guilt, and even regret.
Just how will each one handle the uncomfortable feelings? While they’re not that much different in terms of personality, they are different when it comes to their life experiences. And it’s experiences that tend to shape the way we handle things.
For example, Cop Joe needs to deal with the knowledge that he’s killed someone. Sure, he shot someone in the line of duty, but he didn’t want to kill the person. Finding out that person has died is weighing on his mind, something that Nurse Joe and Music Joe won’t need to deal with.
Music Joe searches for his son on Ordinary Joe Season 1, Episode 4
During the previous episode, Music Joe hit a roadblock in the search for his son. Because his name wasn’t on the birth certificate, there’s no proof that he is the father. Jenny doesn’t want to find the baby she gave up for adoption, either.
That isn’t stopping Music Joe, though. Neither is the risk to his marriage. To be honest, are Joe and Amy on the same path anymore? Can they find compromise when Amy no longer wants kids? Not being able to have them is one thing, but no longer wanting them is another.
Meanwhile Nurse Joe and his Jenny will need to discuss Jenny’s schooling. She needs to give the work an answer soon, but what will it mean for Joe and Chris? That’s something that needs to be discussed on the new episode.
