Hough started on the show in season 5 and ended his run in season 23. He skipped season 12 so that he could work on the film Make Your Move 3D, and he also sat out season 22.

Hough earned his wins with the following partners: Brooke Burke, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Grey, Kellie Pickler, Amber Riley and Bindi Irwin.

His other celebrity partners include Jennie Garth, Shannon Elizabeth, Lil’ Kim, Joanna Krupa, Ricki Lake, Maria Menounos, Shawn Johnson, Amy Purdy, Bethany Mota, Nastia Liukin and Marilu Henner.

Hough and his sister Julianne took Dancing with the Stars by storm when they made their debut. They’d been dancing since they were kids, which isn’t unusual for ballroom dancers but it was new for the American audience whose exposure to ballroom was relatively new. The Hough siblings brought something new to Dancing with the Stars, giving the audience new pro dancers to cheer for.
