The weekend has arrived! What will you be streaming? If you’re searching for family fun, there’s no better platform to look than Disney+. Here’s what to watch on Disney+ this weekend, Oct. 15, 2021.

These days, there are too many streaming services to select from! Netflix remains king, sorry, I don’t make the rules! Netflix simply offers the most variety. But for big featured films, we have HBO Max. Then, there’s Apple TV+, with impactful stories and stunning performances.

We can’t forget about Disney+, though! Not only is Disney+ home to two of the biggest franchises (Star Wars and Marvel), but it’s the platform with the most family content. So if you want a family weekend, Disney is your go-to.

What’s new to stream on Disney+ this weekend?

  • Just Beyond season 1
  • New episode of Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.
  • The Wizards of Paws season 1
  • Lost Cities with Albert Lin: The Great Flood
  • Megacity of the Maya Warrior King

Now, just because the streaming platform has a lot of fun family content, it doesn’t mean it has a lot of it. Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, and others, continue to have more new movies and shows available to stream than Disney+.

Additionally, this month you can take advantage of Halloween content streaming on the Disney service. Some of the family-friendly movies include Muppets Haunted Mansion, Bride of Boogedy
Can of Worms, Don’t Look Under the Bed, Edward Scissorhands, the classic favorite Halloweentown, and more.
