The Voice season 21: How many steals and saves are there on The Voice?

The Voice season 21 is quickly flying by with the Battles currently underway and the Knockouts not too far away.

While in early seasons a loss in the Battles meant the end of an artist’s time on the show, as the series evolved new twists were introduced beginning with the coach’s steal and later with the coach’s save.

As a result, losing in a Battle no longer means the end of one’s journey as coaches now have the chance to either save their artist or steal an artist for their team — thus giving artists a second life in the competition.

We’re only a few episodes into the Battles and several of the coaches have burned through their steals and saves already, but exactly how many steals and saves do the coaches receive this season?

How many saves do The Voice season 21 coaches get?

In total, each coach on The Voice receives one save for the Battle rounds which gives them the chance to save one artist from elimination.

How many steals do The Voice season 21 coaches get?

Like with the saves, each coach receives one steal during the Battle rounds which provides them with the chance to steal an eliminated artist from one of their fellow coaches’ teams.

In addition to getting one steal during the Battles, the coaches also receive one steal during the Knockouts, meaning they get a total of two steals each season of The Voice.
