When are Dune movie tickets on sale and where can you purchase them?

After being pushed back over a year due to the pandemic, Dune is finally set to arrive on Oct. 22, 2021, in both theaters and on HBO Max. Are Dune movie tickets on sale yet? Where can you purchase them?

Dune is easily one of the most anticipated films of the year. The epic sci-fi film is based on the legendary novel from Frank Herbert. The film revolves around Paul Atreides, and his quest to protect his family and friends by traveling to the planet Arrakis, where he must secure the most precious resource in the galaxy, melange, or the “spice.”

Dune is directed by Denis Villeneuve (Arrival, Prisoners, Blade Runner 2049) and features a cast with more A-list talent than an edition of People Magazine. The cast includes Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem.

Since Dune is a Warner Bros. film, it will have a simultaneous release in theaters and on HBO Max. Many fans have been waiting a long time for this film and believe a film of this scale should be seen on the biggest screen possible. So are Dune movie tickets on sale?

For those who want to see Dune in a theater, tickets are now on sale. There will be showings starting on Thursday night, Oct. 21. To purchase tickets ahead of time, check sites like Fandango, Movie Tickets, or AMC to reserve your spot.

If you would to stay home and watch the film, you can do that as well if you subscribe to HBO Max. Dune will now be releasing one day early on HBO Max on October 21 at 6PM ET/3 PM PT. The film will be available at no extra cost to your membership.
