Ghosts is an underrated gem this Fall TV season! Fortunately, the show’s new fans know its worth, as well as CBS, because the network has handed out a full season order to the haunting new comedy.
Fans who love lighthearted comedies need to be watching Ghosts on CBS. The sitcom airs new, bite-size, 30-minute episodes on Thursday nights, which is perfect. Missing Ted Lasso on Apple TV+? Ghosts will give you that fuzzy feeling you miss!
The cast in incredibly funny, the chemistry is perfect. The ensemble cast includes Rose McIver, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Asher Grodman, Rebecca Wisocky, Sheila Carrasco, Danielle Pinnock, Roman Zaragoza, Devan Chandler, and others.
What is Ghosts on CBS about?
Ghosts follows Samantha (McIver) and Jay (Ambudkar), a young married couple who receive a beautiful country house after Sam’s relative passes away. At first, everything is normal, only viewers can see the ghosts roaming the home. Sam and Jay argue about what to do with a place: Sell it? Renovate it? Make it a hotel?
Their discussions are interrupted when Sam falls and a bump on her head gives her the ability to see ghosts. And not only the ghosts in the home, but everywhere. Now, they will need to find a way to live together.
How many episodes are in Ghosts season 1?
The sitcom announced four episodes, but this was before CBS ordered a full season. As Deadline reports, now that CBS has ordered a full season, we can expect more episodes. At the moment, seven show up, but that’s not the final number.
We’re not sure how many episodes season 1 will include, but we will soon! We’re also hoping to learn that the comedy will be renewed for a second season, because we love what we’ve seen so far!
