For eight weeks, we’ve been thrown back into the dystopian future of See Season 2. Is a new episode on Apple TV+ tonight, Friday, Oct. 22?

New episodes of See have been available just after midnight PT on Apple TV+. It’s offered us the perfect start to the weekend, but what about this week?

There isn’t a new episode of the series on tonight. Episode 8 was the Season 2 finale. With the way things ended, that shouldn’t be all that surprising to hear. After all, the biggest antagonist of the season was killed off in a poignant and poetic way.

This means you now have eight episodes to binge-watch this week. Spend your time rewatching them to see all the foreshadowing that you missed.

Is See Season 3 happening?

There is some good news for fans of the series. Apple TV+ has already confirmed that See Season 3 will happen. The renewal came ahead of the Season 2 premiere, giving us comfort as we went through the season. There was no need to worry about how things ended in the Season 2 finale.

We don’t yet have a date for this new season. With the way Apple TV+ has been working, we’re probably looking at 14 months between seasons at least. There were some delays this year due to the pandemic, but things are starting to get back to normal when it comes to filming.

There is a lot to cover on the series moving forward. Baba is sure to grieve the loss of his brother. While Edo gave Baba no choice but to kill him, Baba didn’t want to. He ended up kicked out of the family all because he spared Edo once before, and he didn’t want to kill him at the end of the battle either.

Baba has headed off into the night after saying goodbye to his sleeping wife and children. He refuses to join the Payan Army and notes that Pennsa is not his home. What will See Season 3 bring for him?
