Addison needs to keep her patient alive while the interns get their solo surgeries on Grey’s Anatomy Season 18, Episode 4.

Addison Forbes Montgomery returned to the halls of Grey Sloan Memorial during the previous episode. Everyone had heard there used to be beef between Addison and Meredith, but we knew as viewers that things had settled down between them.

In the end, Addison’s fears and emotions weren’t linked to Meredith at all. They were linked to the loss of Derek, and it was Meredith who was able to offer her some light and peace. That scene with Addy, Zola, and Bailey was just adorably cute.

Now it’s time to pick up with Addison after the womb transplant. Things aren’t going all that well for her.

Addison needs to keep her patient alive in Grey’s Anatomy Season 18, Episode 4

While the transplant ended up being a success, Addison’s patient isn’t out of the woods yet. There’s a complication, and Addy needs to do everything she can to keep her patient alive.

Will this be something Jo steps in to help with? Possibly not. It turns out Jo is helping a woman who goes into premature labor. I really hope we get to see more of Jo learning as a resident again. So far, we’ve seen her figuring out life with Luna and just getting paged every two seconds. We need to see her experiencing her joy and not just being told about it.

While all that goes on, the interns have their own surgeries. This is the first time most of them are acting solo, and Bailey doesn’t seem all that comfortable with the idea. They need to be put in the deep end so they can learn how to swim.
