With the recent news that Killer Camp season 2 has been pulled from The CW’s schedule, Legends of the Hidden Temple (2021) will be missing its Sunday game show companion for the foreseeable future.
It’s a disappointment for those of us who rolled from one show to the next but at least we still have this nostalgic, unintentionally funny reboot to watch.
Last week’s episode, “The Fiery Lava Rock of Pele,” looked to be more physically challenging for contestants which was a much needed improvement. Though the show may have over corrected. Perhaps we’ll see more of a physical and intellectual balance in episode 3 “The Llocano Legend of Lam-Ang.”

What is Legends of the Hidden Temple (2021) episode 3 about?
The legend in episode 3 comes from the Philippines. The Blue Barracudas, Purple Parrots, Red Jaguars, and Silver Snakes will be put to the test in challenges about Lam-Ang. This magical Filipino figure’s story is told in two parts focused on the quests he went on, one for revenge and the other for love.
Once again, the teams seeking to enter Olmec’s temple will have to cross the moat before they can move forward toward being granted access. The water journey will prove difficult for some as they struggle to dress in the appropriate garb and swim their way to shore.
From there their knowledge and their skill will be of the utmost importance. They’ll need to knock out the other challengers in order to do the Temple Run for Lam-Ang’s Talking Rooster. If they can retrieve the legend’s treasure and take it from the temple before the clock runs out, they’ll receive the 25,000 grand prize.
No team has won it yet. Maybe one of these four teams will. We’ll have to watch and see!
