CBS had a night of reruns as FOX aired the first game of the World Series. Here’s how the live TV ratings fared on Tuesday, Oct. 26.

It shouldn’t be surprising to hear that FOX had the best live TV ratings of the night. The first game of the World Series pulled in 10 million viewers and a 2.3 demo rating. It took up the whole night so there were no new episodes of The Resident or Our Kind of People.

Meanwhile, the three FBI shows aired reruns. All of them were okay in the ratings but nothing like the ratings NCIS reruns used to bring. That’s nothing to worry about, though.

We also don’t need to worry about Stargirl or Supergirl on The CW. It is worth noting both were either steady or up in the demo and audience, but we know Stargirl Season 3 is happening and Supergirl is into its final episodes.

La Brea mixed, New Amsterdam up, Queens down in the live TV ratings

The Voice pulled in the best demo and audience in the regular programming. The ratings have stabilized a little. I never worried about the show anyway. This one is getting renewed.

La Brea followed and saw mixed results. It was up 9% in the demo and down 1% in the audience. The figures were the best out of the scripted programming and second-best overall (outside of the baseball!). This new series is sure to get a renewal.

We know New Amsterdam is already renewed for Season 5. However, I do want to point out that it was up 17% in the demo and 4% in the audience. Is this because of the reruns on CBS?

ABC had disappointing live TV ratings. The Bachelorette was down 24% in the demo and 7% in the audience. This is nothing to worry about just yet, though. Bachelor Nation is the best franchise on the network, so there’s no doubt there’ll be another season. Will it continue on Tuesdays, though? That’s something ABC will want to decide.

Queens saw a 16% dip in the demo and 15% dip in the total audience. The numbers aren’t too bad considering there’s usually a dip between pilot and second episode. However, the numbers were already on the low side, and now they’re very low. The audience is down to 1.47 million compared to the 3.57 million tuning in for New Amsterdam in the same timeslot. Even CBS’s FBI: Most Wanted pulled in 3.2 million for its rerun.

ABC will want to see how the show stabilizes, though. There is still a chance for Queens, but I am already concerned about its renewal.
