Gladys Corbin has been giving Brook Lynn Quartermaine plenty of grief on General Hospital this past week and it’s about to get worse. She unexpectedly, and gleefully, ran upon the secret that her boss has been keeping. Of course, Brando’s mom is happily holding it over Brook Lynn’s head to get as many “mental health” days as possible.
On Friday’s episode of General Hospital, Gladys was in Valentin’s room hinting to him about secrets and the power they have. She also suggested that she has one and it involves him. It’s inevitable that the secret of who baby Bailey’s parents really are will eventually come out, but who and when has not yet been revealed.
Thankfully, Gladys only knows that Valentin really isn’t Bailey’s father. She still assumes that Brook Lynn is the one who gave birth a few months ago. However, viewers know that Maxie and Peter are her true parents and that this whole scheme is to keep her safe from her evil daddy.
This upcoming week continues Gladys’ conversation with Valentin. Will she tell him the truth about the child he believes is his? There is also what could be a hint coming from Brook Lynn, thanks to a recent spoiler clip (see below), that suggests something may happen to Gladys soon.
Brook Lynn says a mouthful on General Hospital
In the weekly spoilers that the ABC soap posted on Monday, Brook Lynn is upset thinking that Gladys is about to spill the beans to Valentin. She and Maxie get their heads together to form a new plan of action. Maxie is desperate to stop her, while Brook Lynn says, “Stop her dead in her tracks.”
That expression could very well mean something more, especially in soaps. Is this actually hinting that Gladys ends up dead? After all, she loves playing with fire and this may be one time that it doesn’t end well for her. Who knows? Maybe Peter strikes again and somehow she is the target.
In the meantime, Maxie and Brook Lynn will quickly come up with a new plan, according to spoilers by SheKnows Soaps. It sounds like Valentin may really be told the truth after all this week. That would mean someone else needs to be named the new “daddy.”
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
Do you think Gladys will meet her fate soon?
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
