When does Servant season 3 premiere on Apple TV+?
It looks like fans of M. Night Shyamalan’s Servant will kick off the New Year with all new episodes of the chilling Apple TV+ series. Servant is returning on January 21, 2022, and from the look of the teaser it’s going to be even more intense than anything we’ve seen before.
The third season will consist of 10 episodes, following the first and second seasons. New episodes will be released weekly.
Servant season 3 on Apple TV+ will be the most chilling season yet
The story picks up three months after the season 2 finale. Leanne (Nell Tiger Free) has become a full-fledged member of the Turner family. Aunt Josephine hasn’t been seen since the finale, nor have any other members of the Church of the Lesser Saints. But that doesn’t mean Leanne or the Turners are safe.
At the end of season 2, Dorothy (Lauren Ambrose) and Sean (Toby Kebbell) were once again reunited with their baby, Jericho, after he was taken from them by the cult. Jericho isn’t their son, of course, because their actual son died shortly after he was born.
Sean, with help from Dorothy’s brother Julian (Rupert Grint), tried to ease Dorothy’s grief by pretending that a lifelike doll was actually the baby. And it worked. Too well, really.
The new (real) baby showed up when Leanne arrived to be the Turners’ nanny, but that was only the start of the weird things happening in the Turner household. (As if things weren’t weird already)
Servant is more than your run of the mill psychological thriller. It’s a classic M. Night Shyamalan story, courtesy of creator Tony Basgallop. At times it’s impossible to distinguish whether the supernatural elements are more chilling than the distance in the Turners’ marriage, or Julian’s utter callousness in his everyday dealings.

The allure of Servant is that everyone acts like what’s happening is normal when nothing is remotely normal. This upper class Philadelphia family is able to hide dark truths from their friends – and themselves – and like a car wreck on the freeway it’s impossible to turn away. It’s an easy show to binge; it’s dark, but it’s also compelling and hauntingly beautiful.
