Wednesday, Nov. 10 saw everything air new across the networks except for ABC shows. Here’s how everything performed in the live TV ratings.

ABC aired the 55th Annual CMA Awards. I’ll admit that I didn’t see all that many promos for the award show in the previous weeks, so it caught me a little by surprise. However, it did win the night pulling in 6.56 million viewers and a 1.1 demo rating.

We’re not concerned by the One Chicago shows since all three are renewed. However, we will take a quick look at the ratings. All three fell in both the demo and audience, but this was the case throughout the night for a lot of shows.

Chicago Fire lost the largest demo, falling 23%. It also lost the largest audience, falling by 8%. Is this a sign that fans don’t like that Casey left or is it just timing with the CMA Awards? Fire was still the top show in the audience out of the regular programming and not too far behind the CMA Awards.

Tough as Nails up, The Masked Singer down in the live TV ratings

Tough as Nails was the only series to see both the demo and audience tick up. I’m just not sure it’s enough the save the series. It could make good summer programming, so we might see it move to then.

Survivor was down by 7% in the demo and 2% in the audience, but we know this show has already been renewed. There’s nothing to worry about. CSI: Vegas was up 21% in the demo but down another 2% in the audience. The series is still in contention for a renewal because of its delayed ratings, but the live TV ratings aren’t good. It is a bad timeslot, though.

Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman both performed well on The CW. Their audiences were down 10% and 22% respectively, but they’re still going to be renewed. I can’t see The CW just outright canceling them. They may get “final season orders” or something, but they won’t be outright canceled.

The Masked Singer fall another 2% in the demo and 9% in the audience. The demo did match Survivor for the top spot out of the regular programming. The audience numbers are now down to less than four million, below the One Chicago shows and Survivor.

Alter Ego was up 8% in the demo but down almost 12% in the audience. I can’t see this series being renewed unless FOX is really desperate for unscripted content.
