During the highly anticipated Disney+ Day, Disney and the National Geographic proudly announced that actor Chris Hemsworth will be headlining a new Disney+ original series, Limitless with Chris Hemsworth. A series that will “push the boundaries of human potential.”

What is Limitless with Chris Hemsworth about?

The only written description we know so far is that Limitless with Chris Hemsworth will push human potential to an all-time high. Knowing the great shape Hemsworth is in, we can get a pretty good idea about the stunts we’ll see. Also, we do have a teaser trailer in which we get a first-look at what’s to come.

In the teaser, which you can check out below, you’ll see Hemsworth dangling from a rope asking audiences “you’re probably asking yourself why I’m dangling off a rope a thousand feet off the ground…” Marvel fans remember seeing Hemsworth in a very similar situation in Thor: Ragnarok. But this is as real as it gets!

Chris Hemsworth goes on to share that Disney wanted to make a show about longevity. The actor also shares that he, like us all, wants to live as long as he can. Hemsworth’s strength, resistance, memory, resilience, and more will be tested and pushed. But how much is too much? The trailer also shows Hemsworth breaking down.

When does Limitless with Chris Hemsworth premiere on Disney+?

Disney doesn’t share an official release date, only that the series is coming sometime in 2022. It could be early or late. The series does look like it’s done filming, so we are predicting it’ll arrive early to mid 2022. As soon as we learn more, we’ll update this post!
