Thanksgiving Day is nearly upon us and there is truly no better way to kick off the Thanksgiving Day festivities than with NBC’s annual broadcast of the Macy’s Parade!

Since 1946, NBC has broadcast the annual holiday event which takes place in New York City and features some of the biggest names in entertainment as well as elaborate floats, talented marching bands from across the nation, Broadway performances, and oversized balloons inspired by the likeness of some of the most iconic characters around.

It’s a can’t miss event for many across the nation and a holiday tradition for countless individuals who tune in every Thanksgiving to enjoy the festivities with family and friends. What time is Macy’s Parade 2021?

The 95th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade begins at 9 am ET on Nov. 25 and airs for three hours wrapping at 12 pm ET.  Interestingly, NBC airs the parade from 9 am to 12 pm in all time zones on local affiliates meaning the parade starts at 9 am PT for those on the West Coast.

As in most years, Macy’s has lined up an incredible lineup for its annual Thanksgiving Day Parade which includes some of music’s biggest names!

Among those set to perform this Thanksgiving day are Aespa, Andy Grammer, Chris Lane, Darren Criss, Foreigner, Girls5eva, Jimmie Allen, Jon Batiste, Jordan Fisher, Josh Dela Cruz, Steve Burns, Donovan Patton, Kelly Rowland, Kim Petras, Kristin Chenoweth, Mickey Guyton, Nelly, Rob Thomas, Tai Verdes, Tauren Wells and Zeo Wees.

Macy’s Parade Broadway performances

No Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade would be complete without a few Broadway performances and Macy’s lined up quite the lineup for this year’s parade. Fans tuning in on Thanksgiving can look forward to performances from the casts of Wicked, Six and Moulin Rouge! The Musical. Fans can also look forward to a special performance from the cast of NBC’s Annie Live!
