Poison Ivy makes her debut tonight on Batwoman season 3! Last episode, “How Does Your Garden Grow?,” finally revealed Mary as the successor to the Batman villain’s thorny throne.

As has been the pattern this season, the Gotham baddie of the week (with exception to Lazlo Valentin and the Black Glove Society) has been a new incarnation of the villains Batman fans know and love. Mary is no different.

After she was dragged into a bush by a vine in “Freeze,” the newly minted doctor hasn’t been the same. It was only a matter of time before that moment bore fruit and, slowly, episode by episode it became clear that Poison Ivy’s new host would be her.

Now that Mary has run off with only Alice by her side, there’s no doubt that things are about to take a turn for the worse. Will Ryan and Luke be able to get her to see reason and try to fight against the toxin changing her personality and her desires?

Honestly, it’s up in the air. They didn’t listen to her when she addressed her concerns about Luke’s PTSD which supported Alice’s theory that they don’t actually see her. Her being a danger to herself and the rest of Gotham might not be enough of a deterrent.

We’ll have to watch episode 7 “Pick Your Poison” to see what happens with Mary. Here’s when the episode premieres along with its synopsis and how to watch it live online tonight.
