Where to stream Hawkeye online: Netflix? Amazon? Disney+?
Hawkeye is the latest Marvel series to help bridge the gap between Phase 3 and Phase 4 in the movies. Where can you stream the new series?
The Marvel shows are technically Phase 4 of the universe, but they feel like they’re bridging the gap between phrases. We get old characters we’ve come to know and love and then the shows introduce new characters to help us like them in the next set of movies.
Hawkeye debuted two episodes on Wednesday, Nov. 24. From this point, it will release one episode a week, with the finale airing on Wednesday, Dec. 22. Now you just need to know where you’re streaming it.
Where to stream Hawkeye online
There is only one place to go for this TV series. It’s all about Disney+.
That shouldn’t be too surprising. Disney owns Marvel, and all the other Marvel shows have headed straight to Disney+. We’ll also see all the future movies head to the streamer. Well, that is except those produced by Sony because of licensing agreements. We won’t get into that!
Disney+ is the only place you’ll be able to watch the series. Like Loki and Wandavision (and other Marvel shows on the streamer), the series isn’t likely to get a DVD release. Disney+ wants to keep the content exclusive to the service. This encourages more people to sign up for a subscription instead of paying just once to get full access to a series for life.
What is Hawkeye about?
The series picks up a year after Avengers: Endgame. During the movie, Clint Barton had almost sacrificed his own life to get his family back. In the end, Natasha Romanov did that, and Clint is weighed down with that, but he is also grateful to have his family back.
A year later, enemies from his past show up. He needs to partner with Kate Bishop as Ronin to make sure he’s back with his family in time for Christmas.
It’s certainly a fun ride and it’s finally a chance to get to know more about Hawkeye.
Hawkeye airs Wednesdays on Disney+.
