Where can you stream Sing 2 online? Is the movie on Netflix?

The holiday season is about to be very fruitful for families as we see the release of Sing 2. The much-anticipated sequel to the 2016 film is hitting the big screen this holiday and the big question is, will it be available on the small screen, big screen, or both? Here’s what you need to know about how to watch Sing 2.
I love catching a movie with my family during the holiday season, and while sometimes we are stuck watching movies with our kids that are brutal, I can confirm that Sing 2 is an absolute blast for the entire family.
Buster Moon is back and he wants the big stage this time around, so he makes a promise to lure Clay Calloway (Bono) out of retirement for the opening night of the new show. The star-studded cast includes Matthew McConaughey, Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Halsey and more.
The holiday season has been great this year with the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Encanto and Clifford the Big Red Dog. Will Sing 2 find success like the rest with families?
Can you stream Sing 2 online from home?
Sadly, no. You will not be able to watch Sing 2 online when it premieres. We have seen many movies come out with dual-releases over the last two years, but this is not one of them.
With that being said, Netflix made a deal with Illumination and Dreamworks Animation to extend their partnership earlier this year to stream their films when they are made available to them. However, you can expect to see the movies to hit NBCUniversal’s Peacock before hitting Netflix.
We don’t have a timeline for you yet, but we will keep you posted when we know more details or a Peacock or Netflix release date of the movie. In the meantime, make plans to watch Sing 2 in theaters when it comes out on Dec. 22.
Sing 2 hits theaters on Dec. 22, 2021.
