Is The Good Place worth watching?

Featuring arguably one of the strongest comedic ensemble casts of the modern era, The Good Place is one of peak TV’s finest gems. The series manages to combine complicated philosophical questions with whip-smart writing, brilliant performances, and twists that will keep you glued to your seat. The show’s only downfall? With only four short seasons, you’re sure to end your binge-watch wanting more.

Is Battlestar Galactica worth watching?

SyFy’s remake of Battlestar Galactica did many things. It didn’t just reinvent a beloved 1970’s television series; it also put the then-Sci-Fi Network on the map and reinvigorated the entire science fiction genre.

The new BSG was the most remarkable and relevant sci-fi series of its time and stands up against any other genre show that’s been on the airwaves. It told powerful stories, surprised us with characters (remember the uproar about a female Starbuck?!?), featured great acting from every member of the cast, and gave us one of TV’s great scores by Bear McCreary. What more could you ask for?

Is Cheers worth watching?

Cheers is a fantastic 1980s comedy set in a bar in Boston. It follows the regular patrons and employees through their lives – as much as you can follow someone who never leaves a barstool.

But the 11-season show created memorable characters from Sam Malone, the ex-Red Sox pitcher, to Cliff Clavin, the lovable mailman who had a bit of bad luck on Jeopardy. It even launched the career of Woody Harrelson. For great laughs, Cheers is a classic television show that anyone should watch.  There was even a love triangle thrown in for good measure.

Is Dexter worth watching?

Tonight’s the night… you give Dexter a chance to win your heart over! That quote is supposed to mean something, which you’ll understand once you watch the series. Dexter follows the kindest serial killer ever of the same name, portrayed by Michael C. Hall, on his mission to help rid the world of criminals. Because, unfortunately, not all bad guys get what they deserve. Some are able to escape the authorities, flee and never be found. Others manage to cheat justice and are released, only to do the same crime to someone else. But not on Dexter’s watch!

I’ll be the first to admit that the finale of Dexter was below average. It doesn’t satisfy and definitely leaves a bad taste in your mouth, but all the previous seasons are SO worth it!

Is Modern Family worth watching?

In this Emmy-winning look at the modern family of today, viewers are introduced to three compelling families including Phil, Claire and their three kids; Claire’s father Jay, his much-younger wife and step-son; and Jay’s son Mitchell, his husband Cameron, and their adopted young daughter.

Through its honest look at the lives of today’s various family structures, the series strikes an often hilarious cord with viewers as it explores the hardships and everyday bumps that today’s families face.
