The first teaser for The Witcher: Blood Origin prequel series arrives (Watch)

The highly anticipated season 2 of The Witcher is finally here. Season 2 builds up a way larger journey and the wild hunt for season 3.
Season 2 also leaves the viewers with a lot of questions. And all the fans have to wait for probably more than a year because they just wrapped up writing and the production hasn’t begun yet. But there’s a live-action upcoming prequel series that teases an important storyline.
The post-credit scene of The Witcher season 2 contains the first teaser of the upcoming prequel series that takes place 1200 before the Henry Cavill led series.

In the new trailer, we get the chance to see Michelle Yeoh’s character as she heads into battle to recover a mystical item stolen from her people. It will answer all the teases in season 2 regarding the ancient elven civilization before their downfall as well as events leading to the connection of spheres

The show was announced in mid-2020 as a six-parter miniseries. The cast of the show includes Sophia Brown, Laurence O’Fuarain, Mirren Mack, Dylan Moran, Nathaniel Curtis and Jacob Collins-LevyCollins-Levy and Lenny Henry.
The story it wants to tell is indeed very important as we know next to nothing about the origin of elves, the elders, and everything about the connection of spheres.
The release date of the series is not yet known but the series has been confirmed for 2022.
