What’s coming to Disney+ in January 2022? We list our top five Disney+ movies and shows, below.

Disney+ may be home to a large library of Disney favorites and classics, and it is also home to two of the largest fandoms in the world, Marvel and Star Wars. If you are wanting to stream something from the MCU, this is where you’ll find it. The same can be said for Star Wars.

The platform is also perfect for families with young children as there is plenty of family-friendly and kid content! Other than this, I hate to say that there’s not much to see on Disney+. I don’t mean this in a bad way, but there’s no variety, not like the one Netflix offers. And most big features are streaming on HBO Max. So while our list below is short, there is still plenty to get excited about.

What’s new on Disney+ in January 2022?

• Star Wars: The Book Of Boba Fett episode 2, “Chapter 2” — January 5
• The Sandlot — January 7
• Eternals — January 12
• Betty White Goes Wild! — January 14
• The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild — January 28

While The Book of Boba Fett doesn’t premiere in January (it’s out Dec. 29), most episodes will be streaming in January, beginning on Wednesday, Jan. 5, so don’t miss it! You can also look forward to the movie Eternals. If you missed it in theaters, now is your chance to watch it for free as part of your regular Disney+ subscription.

The classic movie The Sandlot arrives on Jan. 7, which should be fun to rewatch after so many years. As for new content, there’s Betty White Goes Wild! on Jan. 14 and The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild on Jan. 28.
