What time is Demon Slayer season 2 episode 5 coming out?

As expected, Demon Slayer season 2 is gearing to be one of the most action-packed series of this season as we have finally got one step closer to seeing the epic showdown between our demon slayers and the strong demon that is currently plaguing the Entertainment District.

In case you missed out on the previous episode or simply want to remember everything that happened in episode 4 before you watch episode 5, here’s a brief recap to help you out.

Our fourth episode titled “Tonight” was all about the growing boldness of the Upper-Rank demon, Daki.

Initially, a creature of the night who would plot her next moves carefully, Daki starts to move viciously in order to quickly put an end to the demon slayers (and innocent people) currently trying to thwart her plans in the Entertainment. Having already laying waste to a few people such as the keeper of Kyogoku House and causing the disappearance of Zenitsu and Maki, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui realizes that this mission may have been too advanced for our lower mid-rank demon slayers to take on, kindly asking them to escape this deadly town with their lives. But rather than heed Uzui’s advice, Tanjiro and Insouke rise into action.

In the latter half of the episode, Tanjiro decides to come clean to Tokito House’s Oiran, Koinatsu, letting her know that he’s been pretending to be a girl for his mission. She admits that she’s known all along, honoring his resolve to help with the grim situation of the house. The two exchange kind words and Tanjiro set off, however, it may have benefitted him to stay a bit longer because shortly after his departure, Koinatsu became Daki’s next meal.

Towards the end of this wild ride of an episode, we see Tengen desperately gather information concerning his wife, Maki, and while he’s off getting intel, Tanjiro encounters Daki for the first time. Within minutes of their meeting, Daki sends Tanjiro flying to the next building with one punch; her strength insurmountable. Even still, Tanjiro picks up his sword with the full intention of defeating Daki.

Will Tanjiro actually be able to win by himself, or will Daki take captive yet another demon slayer? You’ll have to tune in to find out!
