3 new Netflix movies and shows to watch this week: January 3, 2022

Happy New Year to all of you out there reading this and thank you for the support 2021, lets make 2022 even better.  Like we do each and every week, below, we share all the new Netflix movies and shows debuting beginning the week of Jan. 3, 2022.

With the number of streaming platforms that are out, one thing is for sure: Netflix can still stay ahead of the pact because of the wide range of content that fits all ages. In addition, they continue to up their game every week, which keeps people around.

This week, I’ll admit is a bit light on the new content, with only three new original shows being added. The new year is kicking off, and I guess Netflix wanted people to catch up on their favorite series or movies from the year.

I want to highlight a few titles the streaming platform did add at the top of the month, though. They added a pair of my all-time favorite movies in The Town and Hell or High Water, as well the entire trilogy of original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films and for those looking for an old-school comedy, Road Trip.

Netflix added some stuff for the families with some classics in Free Willy, Kung Fu Panda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Monsters vs. Aliens.
