What’s coming to The CW in January 2022?

It’s 2022! New year, new TV watching opportunities. For fans of The CW this means we’re finally getting the premiere of some highly anticipated television shows.

First up is NAOMI, the latest addition to DC TV on the network. The series follows the titular character as she works to uncover a mystery after a supernatural event rocks Port Oswego, her hometown and site of the local military base.

The superhero drama joins Stargirl as one of the only super-powered teen offerings on the network. The rest of DC TV on The CW is led by adult characters with teens playing supporting roles. NAOMI will make its debut after Superman & Lois season 2 on Monday, Jan. 11.

It’s a fitting pair for Tuesday nights since the sneak peek of NAOMI shows Superman flying over a shocked Naomi, though we should note that it may not be Tyler Hoechlin’s Clark Kent. However, while this line-up is exciting, it does mean that The Flash season 8 has been bumped to a new night.

That’s disappointing for fans who’ve been tuning into Flash Tuesdays for years. Now, it’ll be Flash Wednesdays come March. Check out the full list of The CW shows airing in January below!
