Showtime’s mystery-horror-drama follows a New Jersey high school soccer team who board a private plane to Seattle to compete in a national tournament. Shortly after taking off, the plane crashes in the Ontario wilderness. The survivors are not found for 19 months, and each episodes gives us snippets of their time in the woods and present day. What truly happened in the woods? How were they able to survive for that long?

Yellowjackets was promoted as a miniseries, which means a one-season series. With only a few episodes left and still so many unanswered questions, it makes sense why Showtime renewed the show for a second season.

How many seasons of Yellowjackets will there be?

At this time, there is only one season and you can stream it on the Showtime app. There are two episodes left in season 1 (at the time of this writing). After season 1, stay tuned for a second season. We’re not sure when it’ll premiere, but it’s happening. If 10 episodes was not enough to wrap up the story, I’m looking forward to learning what surprises are ahead!
