Yellowjackets is getting very intense and that’s a sign that the season finale is just ahead! When is the season 1 finale and is Yellowjackets season 2 confirmed? Here’s everything we know!
Spoilers ahead if you are not caught up or missed Yellowjackets season 1 episode 9.
Episode 9, “Doomcoming,” is straight up bonkers! And I say this in the best way because, by now, we all know to expect the unexpected when it comes to the Showtime horror-drama. In the past, the Yellowjackets enjoyed a party — well, enjoyed most of it. And in present time, Shauna lost her cool there for a bit.
Shauna killed Adam, believing he is the one who has been blackmailing Natalie, Misty, and Taissa. But what do you know? It was her husband all along! He’s actually not even cheating on Shauna. Will they be able to cover it up and keep up this lie they told to Natalie, Misty, and Taissa? Episode 10 may answer that!
When is the Yellowjackets season 1 finale?
Yellowjackets season 1 episode 10, “Sic Transit Gloria Mundi.” is set to be the season 1 finale. That means that there will not be more season 1 episodes. Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean the end of the story. While we hope the season 1 finale finally answers some questions (particularly what happened in the woods), we do still want plenty of mystery left for season 2 as Showtime has already renewed the series.
Showtime renewed the series for a second season on Dec. 16. There’s no release date known yet as it’s a bit too early for that, but we know to expect it about a year from the season 1 premiere, so late 2022. If anything changes due to the ongoing pandemic, we’ll update this post!
