Is Max ever coming back to Catfish?

Catfish season 8 has returned with new episodes. Max Joseph hasn’t appeared in the reality show in some time, but that doesn’t mean fans are over him. We still miss Max! Will the former co-host ever return?

When Catfish: The TV Show first premiered on MTV, it was hosted by Max Joseph and Nev Schulman. The idea for the MTV show came from Nev’s experience. He was dating someone online, completely head over heels in love, and this woman turned out to not be real. Nev was catfished. The woman pretended to be someone else. Now, Nev and co-host Kamie Crawford help other potential victims track down the person they are chatting with online that show too many red flags. It’s up to Nev and Kamie to find out if the person is a Catfish or the real deal.

The show never fails to surprise fans! Just when you think you’ve seen it all, a new twist comes along. Needless to say, Catfish never gets old. If you’re not watching and love drama, you’re missing out!

Max has no plans to return to Catfish

As much as we love Kamie and want her to stick around as Nev’s co-host (the two share great chemistry, we love their friendship), a mention or appearance from Max would be such a treat for longtime fans.

Unfortunately, as People reports, there are no upcoming episodes that will feature Max. We hope Max gives the show a shoutout. Fans thought Max would return after Nev posted a video on Instagram with Max. The caption reads “Do you think Max misses me as much as I miss him??” and we see Nev dancing while Max just stands there. The video also reads “New season of Catfish starts Jan 5th” which is why fans rushed to the idea that Max is back. Sadly, that’s not the case. Well played, Nev! We are still excited to watch upcoming new episodes.
