Hotel Transylvania 4 is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video and it’ll likely be the No. 1 family movie this weekend. Will there be another movie after this? Is the franchise planning Hotel Transylvania 5 in the near future? Or is this the end of the animated movie series?

Families love the Hotel Transylvania franchise! While each movie features the same gags and tricks, this is why kids love the movies so much. The characters are colorful, each with unique and quirky personalities. The storylines are easy to follow and there’s a sweet message in each chapter. The movies also include plenty of fun for the parents, yet keep the humor light and never cross the line.

That said, since kids and parents can’t get enough, is another sequel in the works? Here’s what we know!

Is Hotel Transylvania 5 happening?

Unfortunately, Hotel Transylvania 4 is the final movie in the franchise. Not only was the movie promoted as the final in the series, but the story also nicely wraps up the character’s journeys, so I genuinely feel like it’s a satisfying conclusion without breaking hearts and making kids feel like this is the end. Transformania is a sweet and hilarious farewell from Dracula to its audience. But who knows? In the world of entertainment, never say never! While I don’t see the cast and crew coming back any time soon (Adam Sandler wasn’t even part of this final movie), we may see the characters again in some form in the near future.
