When is Yellowstone season 5 coming out in 2022?

With how amazing of a show this series is, it came as no surprise that Yellowstone season 5 was officially greenlit by the television network and was confirmed to be on the way very soon.

Naturally, news of a fifth season came as good news for fans of the series—especially after that season 4 finale left everyone feeling every single emotion in the book. And now, rather than waiting a painstakingly long year for their favorite show to return, fans will only have to wait a few more months to see the continuation of this Western drama.

Yellowstone season 5 release date

We certainly aren’t bluffing when we say a few more months as executive producer David Glasser confirmed that the new season will arrive in the Fall of this year after also confirming that filming would commence in May 2022!

In expressing his excitement at what’s to come, Glasser told Variety:

"It’s the prime of the show. I think the show is still maturing, and there’s still a lot of story to tell. I know with Taylor [Sheridan], he’s got a lot to say and a lot to write. He’s deep into Season 5 of Yellowstone now. He’s got some incredible ideas that he shared that I think audiences are going to be really excited about."

With both Glasser’s words and season 4’s release date in mind, it’s safe to assume that Yellowstone season 5 will premiere no later than November 2022.

Hopefully, our assumptions will prove to be true as more information on season 5 releases, but while we wait to receive more information on the upcoming season including an official release date, we relish in the fact that Glasser has a lot in store for millions of fans of1883, his upcoming series 6666, and, of course, Yellowstone.

“As you can imagine, tons of opportunities have come to Paramount.”, Glasser revealed. “We’re looking at all of them, and we want to talk to our audience in the best way possible.”

Exciting things are coming in season 5 and we can’t wait!
