7 movies to watch (and 3 to skip) in February 2022

After quite the lackluster month of films that we had in January, the month of February is lined up to be jam-packed. With that being said, today, I share a quick list featuring 7 movies to watch and 3 to skip.

With the wide range of streaming platforms and movies being released in theaters, the amount of content you get weekly becomes a little overbearing. So we like to make things a little easier for you by sharing some of the movies coming out within each month.

You usually see us share all the things coming out in the month, but we wanted to switch things up this time! Instead, below we share some of the movies we’re excited about, as well as the movies we aren’t so enthusiastic about.

Movies to watch in February 2022

Jackass Forever: In theaters Feb. 4

Are you a fan of the Jackass franchise? I know I am. These guys are wild and crazy and honestly, I am tired of seeing the trailer in the theaters. So part of me is excited so that I can stop seeing the trailer and the other part of me excited is to see what these crazy guys have in store for us.

I Want You Back: Streaming on Prime Video Feb. 11

I am the biggest Charlie Day fan, and I am in anytime I see him in a movie. Teaming with Jenny Slate, who I think is an under-the-radar comedic actress, they play a recently dumped duo that sabotages their ex’s relationships to get them back.

Marry Me: In theaters and on Peacock Feb. 11

I am sure some of you expected to see this on the skip list, but you were wrong. I love me some Jennifer Lopez and her playing a mogul musician getting ready to marry the superstar fiance, but she finds out he cheated. Instead, she randomly picks a guy (Owen Wilson) out of the crowd holding a Marry Me sign. The pair are a match made in comedy heaven.

Tall Girl 2: On Netflix Feb. 11

Who watches some of these movies on Netflix that get them sequels? I would like to have a word with you. Tall Girl was a cute idea executed poorly and by no means did it say we needed another, but here we are.

The In Between: On Paramount+ Feb. 11

A sci-fi movie after someone surviving an accident, but their significant other dies? Tell me we haven’t seen that movie a hundred times and I swear Joey King or Chloe Grace Mortez has stared in 90 of them.

Dog: In theaters Feb. 18

I love me some Channing Tatum. I do, I promise, BUT this movie looks so incredibly cheesy and something we have seen before that I have ZERO interest in checking it out. I am sure some of you out in the world think I am crazy and that’s okay, this is still a hard pass for me.
