Batwoman season 3 continues tonight with an episode focused on Ryan’s incredibly full plate. Poison Mary is still at large and now she’s paired up with Poison Ivy. The newly blossomed partnership between them means Gotham is in more danger than it has been all season.

The midseason premiere, “Trust Destiny,” showcased the love story between Pamela Isley and Renee Montoya but it also painted a picture of the lengths Ivy will go to save the planet. Her master plan involves the city’s dam and with Mary at her side, she can finally achieve the goal she’d been heading toward before Montoya stopped her ten years ago.

On top of worrying about the possible flooding of Gotham, Ryan also has to worry about Jada and her brother. Marquis’ life is still hanging in the balance. While her mother has the Joy Buzzer in her hands with every intention of saving her son, there’s still the matter of what to do about Marquis if he can be awakened.

More than one person lost their life in Jada’s effort to revert Marquis back to the personality he had before his run in with the Joker, and he’s killed people himself. Saving him is the priority but the consequences of what happened still loom.

The one bright spot for Ryan is the progress she’s made with Sophie in the romance department in “Meet Your Maker” but with everything going on, their timing isn’t the best. Can the two figure out a path forward together? Wildmoore shippers are sure hoping so.
